Multi-hyphenate actor, producer, writer, and director Sarah Drew is best known for playing Dr. April Kepner on nine seasons of the hit ABC series Grey’s Anatomy and Hannah Rogers in Warner Bros.’ Everwood. She now stars in and executive produces the hit series Mistletoe Murders, returning for a second season on Hallmark Channel and Hallmark+, and reprises her role as Emily Lane in a series that blends classic mystery with Hallmark’s signature charm. She will soon portray Hedda Hopper in Jimmy, an upcoming biopic about the It’s a Wonderful Life legend, also starring Jason Alexander and KJ Apa.

Her additional television credits include Freeform’s Cruel Summer, recipient of the Hollywood Critics Association Award for Best Cable Drama Series, and the Apple TV+ series Amber Brown, written, directed, and produced by Bonnie Hunt. In 2022, she received a Canadian Screen Award nomination for her lead role in Lifetime’s Stolen by Their Father and produced and starred in her writing debut Reindeer Games Homecoming.

Building on that momentum, Sarah released four films in 2023, including Lifetime’s The Girl Who Caught a Killer, Sony Affirm’s Birthright Outlaw, and Hallmark’s Guiding Emily. She also wrote and executive produced two Lifetime films: A Cowboy Christmas Romance (2023) and A Carpenter Christmas Romance (2024), cementing her reputation in the modern holiday genre.

Behind the camera, she made her directorial debut with Grey’s Anatomy: B-Team the Webisodes, nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award. She later directed the LA Theatre Works radio play Fever Syndrome (2024). Her film credits include Radio with Ed Harris and Cuba Gooding Jr., Moms’ Night Out with Patricia Heaton and Sean Astin, and Indivisible, which she also produced, starring alongside Tia Mowry.
